RENEWAL PROCEDURE
Request for Renewal
A request for renewal may be filed at any time within six (6) months before the expiration of registration, or within six (6) months after its expiration upon payment of an additional fee.
Examination
The request for renewal is subject to examination. The applicant will be allowed to correct or amend the details of the mark to address the examiner’s action.
Notice of Issuance
If the request for renewal is in order or the examiner’s action is sufficiently addressed, a Notice of Issuance shall be issued requiring payment of the issuance fee for the Certificate of Renewal of Registration.
Issuance of Renewal Certificate
The Certificate of Renewal of Registration shall be issued upon payment of the required fee. A Certificate of Renewal of Registration shall remain in force for a period of ten (10) years from date of renewal.
